ACADEMIC SUBJECT SELECTION GR 10 – 12
Requirements for Matric Exemption
Seven subjects selected from below. (Compulsory: Languages, Math’s / MLit & LO.)
One of the languages is taken on Home Language level. (English)
The other will be on First Additional Language level. (Afrikaans or IsiZulu)
Either Mathematics or Mathematical literacy.
Life Orientation.
Requirements for Entrance into Gr. 10 at South Coast Academy
Gr. 9 learners MUST have achieved 50% for Math’s to follow core Math’s in Gr.10
and 50% for Natural Science to follow Physical Science and / or Life Sciences.
Seven Subjects in total including the compulsory subjects.
